If we have ever wondered where our food comes from, we will find the heartbreaking truth of the live mutilations, the extreme confinement, and the ripping apart of families of the animals who we place on our plates.

But because everything comes in nice boxes and packages, we just see it as food. The meat and dairy industries thrive on our not knowing. They know that if the suffering is out of sight, it is out of our minds.

As humans, we are compassionate and empathetic and hate to see another living being suffer. Let’s take a look at what is happening behind the curtain that the meat and dairy industries do not want us to know.
