"How do I know that they won't eat me?"

We have an inherit bias against some lives only because that is what we have been told. We have been told that dogs and cats are to be loved and pigs and cows are to be eaten, even though they all have similar characteristics.

We have been told by society, we have been told by companies, we have been told by tradition. We pass these biases down from one generation to the next.

Let’s break the cycle. Let’s reject the notion of speciesism that some animal lives matter more than other animal lives and instead recognize that all animals are equal.
