We humans have turned sweet, affectionate, thinking, feeling living beings into products. Pigs are housed by the thousands in row upon row of cages barely bigger than their bodies where they live in agony for years.

Among other forms of suffering, their tails are docked, their teeth pulled out, both painfully without anesthesia because that would cost money and to animal agriculture, these living beings are merely products whose suffering means nothing except in how much money the industry can make from their bodies.

Any one of the images of what animals, whose characteristics are no different than our own pets, endure in factory farms are excruciatingly heartbreaking in the thought of how cruel we have become in the name of money and end results.

A kinder, more peaceful life can exist for all living beings. Make a positive difference and give plant based foods a (delicious) try.
