"I want to live in peace."

As humans, we are naturally compassionate. We hate to see other living beings suffer. Which is why we are removed from the process of how our food is made.

The meat and dairy industries do not want us to know that bacon equates to a pig severely confined in a cage, that nuggets equate to a chicken having the tips of her beaks cut off while being treated like an egg laying machine, that a glass of dairy milk equates to a cow having her babies stolen from her immediately on birth, and that a roasted turkey equates to a turkey having the living space the size of a piece of paper.

Humans are naturally compassionate. And that is why these industries do not want us know.
