What makes one sweet and affectionate living being a cherished pet and one sweet and affectionate living being a meal?

A dog and cat are no different than the sweet, friendly, sentient pig, cow, and chicken who we place on our plates. We would never cut off a cat’s tail, pull out a dog's teeth, and confine them in a dark cramped cage with no space to move. But these are standard practices for all animals who are turned into our meals.

A kinder, more equal world can exist. Give plant based foods a (delicious) try.
