We have been taught to see chickens as brainless, stupid birds. However, the opposite is true - they are naturally curious and inquisitive. Chickens can recognize hundreds of other chickens and they use different sounds to communicate to each other including to their young while they are still in the egg.

We have been taught however to see these beautiful animals as merely food. Most chickens live in huge dark factory farms. Here they are confined to battery cages where they are crammed in small spaces with several other chickens making it impossible for them to even lift their wings, never mind explore the world around them.

Let’s make a positive difference and choose plant based.
